Terms of Use

Last updated: October 27, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of DiscipleGo's website and services, operated as DiscipleGo ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to aubrey@disciplego.com.

Who may use DiscipleGo

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian and any additional permission required by local law. A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use DiscipleGo is responsible for supervising that use. Do not create accounts for children under 13.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep your password confidential, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with a church, ministry, or other organization.

Free features and optional support

No contribution is required to use DiscipleGo's available features. Contributing does not grant additional permissions, ownership, or control of the service. Features and availability can change as DiscipleGo develops.

Where contributions are enabled, Stripe displays the amount and frequency before you confirm payment. Monthly contributions authorize recurring monthly charges until cancelled. You can manage payment methods and cancel through the billing portal linked from your Support settings. Cancellation stops future renewals according to the timing shown by Stripe; it does not automatically refund an earlier charge. Changes to a monthly amount through DiscipleGo apply at the next renewal as described in the confirmation. Guest one-time contributions do not create subscriptions.

For payment errors or refund requests, contact aubrey@disciplego.com. Requests are reviewed individually, subject to applicable law. We do not represent contributions as tax-deductible charitable donations. These terms do not limit any payment or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Your content and information about others

You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the rights of others. You give DiscipleGo a limited, nonexclusive license to host, store, copy, format, and display that content as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service and carry out the sharing choices you make. This license does not give us ownership of your content or permission to sell your private notes or prayer requests.

Only enter information you have the right to provide. Obtain permission where required before recording or sharing another person's contact details, prayer requests, personal circumstances, or location. Do not upload confidential information in violation of an obligation to someone else. Exercise particular care with sensitive information and information about minors. You are responsible for choosing appropriate audiences and reviewing content before publishing or sharing it.

Connecting with another account does not automatically give either person access to the other's private records. Public or shared content can be copied by recipients, and removing it from DiscipleGo cannot guarantee removal of those copies.

Acceptable use

Do not use DiscipleGo to break the law; harass, threaten, exploit, or abuse anyone; send spam or unauthorized invitations; publish someone else's private information without authority; infringe intellectual property rights; distribute malicious software; bypass access controls; interfere with the service; or collect information about users without authorization. Do not use automated tools to overload the service, extract private information, or redistribute licensed content in violation of its license.

Scripture, training, and third-party services

Bible translations, training materials, media, software, logos, and other content may belong to DiscipleGo or third-party rights holders. Displaying them does not transfer ownership or grant rights beyond the relevant license. Follow displayed copyright notices and obtain any permission needed to reproduce or distribute licensed materials.

Third-party services, including Scripture providers, embedded media, linked websites, and Stripe, have their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability and content are outside our control. You are responsible for reviewing terms that apply when using those services.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including private records, information about other people, sharing choices, technical data, and third-party Scripture reporting. Use the privacy contact to request access, correction, deletion, or account closure.

No professional or emergency service

DiscipleGo offers tools for personal and ministry use. It is not a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safeguarding, or emergency service, and it does not replace qualified professional advice. Prayer requests and notes are not continuously monitored. Do not use DiscipleGo to request emergency assistance.

Availability and warranties

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features or the service. We aim to keep DiscipleGo useful and reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or recovery of every record. Keep your own copies of information you cannot afford to lose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or protection that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DiscipleGo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from use of, or inability to use, the service. This limitation does not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your nonwaivable rights remain in effect.

Suspension, account closure, and disputes

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, violations of these terms, or legal requirements. You can stop using the service at any time and request account closure at aubrey@disciplego.com. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy. If you have a recurring contribution, use billing management to cancel it; do not assume that simply stopping use cancels a subscription.

If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and the date above. We will provide notice of material changes when required by law and request agreement where required. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the service and contact us about account closure. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
